The Auto Show Returns! #CIAS2019 #ad

It’s time for the CIAS [Canadian International AutoShow] once again! As usual, I will be in attendance. Actually, for several years, I have been attending as part of the media on their Media Preview Days.  This year will be one of those years, so look for my shares on social media! My goal on my blog is to entice you to go to the show; since 1990 I have been eager to go each year. Be forewarned, by no stretch of imagination am I professing to be an auto guru of any kind; however, I admit that I melt each time I see a sexy car.

Disclosure: I have been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.

The CIAS is a wonderful place for prospective buyers to view innovative manufacturer advancements in the auto sector, and potentially hone in on their vehicle of choice. In my opinion, manufacturers are riddled with challenges to keep up with the ever-changing market, which includes the consumers’ changing needs!

The #CIAS2018 is Coming to Toronto #ad

In just a few days Toronto will be hosting the 2018 Canadian International Auto Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.  Come February 16-25, 2018 the show floors will come alive!  This is a yearly show that I try to attend … always.

Disclosure: I have been compensated to share this post. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Every year the show is packed with exciting must-see events and/or features!  Most years I get invited to attend Media Day; however, this year I am unable to attend that day so I’ll be among the general attendees trying to get a prime spot.  No matter, it will be exciting nonetheless.

Who doesn’t feel the thrill when viewing the amazing selection of cars in the AutoExotica – Power & Passion?  The list of exotic cars is extensive and gorgeous; for example, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, and Pagani to name a few.  Breathtaking examples of fine automobiles that can get your heart pumping, without a doubt.

This year CIAS is celebrating 70 years of Porsche!  Pop in to see classic and historically significant Porsche models.  The “70 Years of Porsche” will be on display on Level 100 of the North Building, just to the west of Auto Exotica in a space that was occupied last year by “50 Years of Formula One in Canada.” The company history, a focus on key individuals in its evolution and nine of its most famous cars over the decades will make up the exhibit.

50 Years of Hot Wheels: Castrol Alley will feature a celebration of the worlds’ largest car manufacturer – Hot Wheels – and their 50th anniversary special presentation. An extensive kids build zone, merchandise sales area and giant cityscape Hot Wheels track along with some of the iconic full size Hot Wheels cars will engage and delight both young and young at heart on the 700 level in the South Building.

Stroll through the automotive history gallery and view several iconic brands.  They’re sheer decadence and elegance of yesteryear.  There will be 17 classic cars that will leave you breathless. One fine example is a 1925 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.  This gallery is one of my favourite places to be!

Did you know that you could win $10,000 for racing eSports cars?! There will be daily competitions on the premiere racing game, Forza Motorsport 7.  The eSports Arena is located in Castrol Alley.  Don’t forget to click VIEW CHANNEL for daily live streaming of the competition! Competitions are open to gamers of all ages.  Good Luck to all!
